Overview

The Tier 1 Customer Support Engineer will provide world-class technical support to JumpCloud’s customers, focusing on resolving high-priority issues in a fast-paced environment.

In Short

  • Provide technical support via email, phone, chat, or remote sessions.
  • Manage a queue of support tickets for complex technical issues.
  • Reproduce issues and respond to customers promptly.
  • Collaborate with peers and internal tools for effective solutions.
  • Maintain technical understanding of the JumpCloud Platform.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure customer education programs are accurate.
  • Develop and maintain internal knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for monitoring customer responses.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in a technical, customer-facing role.
  • Experience with mission-critical customer issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Windows platform.
  • Understanding of Active Directory.
  • Experience with Single Sign-on configuration.
  • Knowledge of information security best practices.
  • Passion for learning new technologies.
