Software Engineer - Core Services - Remote

Overview

JumpCloud is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Core Services team, where you'll help develop mission-critical services that power JumpCloud's foundational infrastructure.

In Short

• Develop mission-critical services for JumpCloud's infrastructure.
• Work with API Gateway, Notification Systems, and workflow orchestration engines.
• Implement highly available distributed systems.
• Migrate legacy MongoDB clusters to new Core Services Platforms.
• Participate in on-call shifts for system alerts.
• Collaborate with a team focused on communication and interpersonal skills.
• Work remotely within the authorized country.
• Contribute to a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with Go and/or NodeJS.
• Knowledge of API design and microservices concepts.
• Familiarity with AWS or GCP.
• Understanding of MongoDB and DocDB.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.
