JoomPro is a first end-to-end cross-border B2B marketplace. We aspire to create a new level of service in the wholesale purchasing market and give everyone, anywhere in the world, the opportunity to easily and efficiently order goods from factories in China, with plans to include India, Bangladesh, Turkey, and others in the future.

JoomPro is one of the key businesses of Joom, an international group of e-commerce companies founded in 2016 in Latvia. Joom also includes other businesses: Joom Marketplace, a platform for global shopping; Onfy, a pharmaceutical marketplace in Germany; and Joom Pulse, a data platform that provides analytics and recommendations for marketplace sellers. Joom has offices in Latvia, China, Hong Kong, the USA, Germany, Brazil, and Portugal, with its headquarters in Lisbon, Portugal.

We are seeking a proactive and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to lead JoomPro’s expansion in Mexico. This is a unique opportunity to shape our market entry strategy, build strong local partnerships, and drive the growth of cross-border wholesale trade in the region.

In Short

  • Own and drive market entry and business growth in Mexico, ensuring key goals are met
  • Identify and develop long-term strategic partnerships with local players
  • Execute the commercial and go-to-market strategy
  • Manage cross-functional initiatives across product, logistics, marketing, and operations
  • Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
  • Represent JoomPro in Mexico, serving as a key point of contact for partners and stakeholders
  • Provide performance reports and strategic recommendations to the leadership team

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, commercial partnerships, or market launch
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and delivering business results
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce, international trade, and logistics
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (C1/C2), both spoken and written
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
