Overview

We’re looking for a Principal Account Executive to join our sales team. This hybrid role combines high-impact selling with strategic leadership. You’ll manage your own quota while mentoring and supporting the broader team, helping align everyone towards success. Your work will directly drive revenue, shape team performance, and influence sales strategy.

In Short

  • Own the full sales cycle for strategic accounts, from prospecting to close, consistently exceeding quota through new business acquisition.
  • Build territory and account plans, lead cold-calling campaigns, and design outbound strategies to generate high-quality leads.
  • Present JOIN’s solutions in a compelling, value-driven way, collaborating closely with Account Management, Marketing, and Product teams to maximise client value.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene, analysing results to continually improve your sales approach.
  • Mentor and support Account Executives, share best practices, assist with deal reviews, and act as a role model for high-performance selling behaviours.
  • Provide insights to leadership on market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS or technology, with a proven track record of exceeding targets in complex sales environments.
  • Experienced in qualification frameworks (MEDDPICC) and methodologies such as Challenger, SPIN, Sandler, Consultative, or Value Selling.
  • Comfortable mentoring peers while managing your own quota and influencing without direct authority.
  • Self-driven, resilient, and consistent in delivering results with exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
