Risk Controller (m/f/d) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Risk Controller (m/f/d) for one of our clients in a remote position.

In Short

• Identify, analyze, and assess risks in market, credit, liquidity, and operational areas.
• Further develop and maintain the risk management system along with its methods and models.
• Create risk analyses, scenario calculations, and stress tests.
• Report to management and regulatory authorities (including risk reports and regulatory notifications).
• Monitor risk limits and develop measures in case of limit breaches.
• Collaborate closely with controlling, treasury, compliance, and other departments.
• Contribute to projects for digitization and automation in risk management.

Requirements

• Completed studies in business administration, business mathematics, economics, finance, or comparable qualifications.
• First to several years of professional experience in risk controlling, ideally in the finance or banking sector.
• Solid knowledge in risk measurement methods, regulatory requirements (e.g., MaRisk, CRR, Basel III/IV), and internal control systems.
• Proficient in common analytical tools, databases, and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Analytical and structured working style with a high affinity for numbers.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork ability, and the capability to present complex issues appropriately.
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
