Logistics Manager (m/f/d) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Logistics Manager (m/f/d) for one of our clients in a remote capacity.

In Short

• Planning, controlling, and monitoring all logistics processes from procurement to distribution.
• Responsibility for efficient warehouse and transport logistics as well as inventory management.
• Optimization of existing processes regarding costs, quality, and lead times.
• Selection, management, and negotiation with freight forwarders, service providers, and suppliers.
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements as well as quality and safety standards.
• Leadership and development of the logistics team.
• Participation in projects for the digitalization and automation of logistics processes.
• Preparation of analyses, reports, and key figures for continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Completed studies in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in logistics management, ideally in an international environment.
• In-depth knowledge in transport, warehouse, and distribution logistics.
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems and common MS Office applications.
• Analytical thinking, structured working methods, and cost awareness.
• Assertiveness, negotiation skills, and very good communication skills.
• Leadership experience and enjoyment in team development.
• Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
