Logistics Manager - Remote

Overview

Kidde is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and coordinate the movement of goods, materials, and resources throughout our supply chain, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery of products.

In Short

• Manage a team of 12-15 employees.
• Oversee inbound and outbound operations, shipping, and receiving.
• Ensure accurate processing of orders and customer service levels.
• Develop strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Train warehouse personnel on safety procedures.
• Coordinate with sales staff to prevent out of stock situations.
• 6+ years of Distribution/Logistics and Warehousing experience required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills needed.
• Experience with Lean/6 Sigma methodologies is preferred.
• Knowledge of logistics software is essential.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Distribution/Logistics.
• 6+ years of Warehousing/Inventory experience.
• 6+ years of Supply Chain experience.
• 4+ years of people management experience.
• 2-year college or university degree or certification in a business-related field.
• 4-year College Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of moving goods between Canadian/US borders is a plus.
• Process improvement mindset.
• Good base in Excel.
• Sense of urgency and team leadership skills.
