Senior Technical Writer (Part-Time, Remote)

Overview

This position is for a Senior Technical Writer who will create and maintain technical documentation for complex systems while working remotely.

In Short

• Responsible for creating Electronic Technical Manuals (ETM) and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM).

• Proficiency in markup languages like XML and SGML.

• 8+ years of experience in technical writing or equivalent experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with technical writing tools such as Arbortext.
• Familiarity with military and government documentation standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Active government security clearance at Secret level or higher.
• Prior government contracting experience is desirable.
• Technical Writing certification is a plus.
