Staff Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

This position is a strategic role for an experienced data engineering professional who will design and optimize enterprise-scale data pipelines, supporting cross-functional teams and business-critical systems.

In Short

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines to support analytics, reporting, and operational needs.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using SQL, Python, dbt, SSIS, and AWS Glue.
• Integrate machine learning models into data pipelines via AWS SageMaker to deliver actionable insights.
• Administer and optimize relational and NoSQL databases for performance and reliability.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and automate deployments with Terraform.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for AI-ready and self-service analytics solutions.
• Utilize Git for version control and implement development best practices.

Requirements

• Hands-on technical expertise in Python, SQL, and AWS.
• Experience with data pipeline design and optimization.
• Knowledge of machine learning integration in data workflows.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure management.
