Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

This position is for a Software Engineer who will be instrumental in modernizing and replatforming mission-critical applications in a fully remote capacity.

In Short

• Lead and support the modernization of enterprise applications.
• Configure and customize IBM Maximo for asset management.
• Develop and maintain Maximo Business Objects and automation scripts.
• Integrate Maximo with external systems using REST APIs.
• Analyze existing Maximo implementations for performance improvements.
• Support data migration to Azure cloud storage.
• Implement cloud-native services using Azure App Services.
• Collaborate with users to meet mission requirements.
• Participate in testing for upgrades and modernized deployments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in federal environments.
• Strong IBM Maximo or Java development experience.
• Proficient in Spring, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues across distributed systems.
• Familiarity with SDLC best practices.
• Strong communication skills.
