As a Software Engineer in Test I, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through automation, testing, and code validation.

In Short

• Assist in the design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software applications and test tools.
• Execute routine automation assignments with minimal supervision, following departmental procedures and standards.
• Design and implement white-box tests and automation scripts to validate application functionality.
• Develop estimates for assigned tasks and track time to improve accuracy in project planning.
• Perform code reviews and recommend improvements to applications and test frameworks.
• Communicate directly with product owners and end users to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Support training and development initiatives for team members as needed.
• Monitor automated processes and ensure tasks run as expected, performing remediation when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of software test automation experience.
• Experience with software quality assurance procedures, relational database design, and web services.
• Proficiency in XSLT, XML, JSON, HTTP, C#, and SQL.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver, APIs, or similar automation tools.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and automation frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate in a remote environment.
