Senior Controller - Remote

Overview

This position is for a Senior Controller in a remote setting, overseeing all financial operations and driving strategic financial analysis to support business growth.

In Short

• Oversee all aspects of financial operations including AP, AR, and Payroll management
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements
• Drive annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Develop financial models and pro forma analyses
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and tax regulations
• Manage relationships with external auditors
• Lead and mentor finance team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification strongly preferred
• 7-10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• 3-5 years in a Controller or senior financial management role
• Advanced expertise in Excel and financial modeling
• Proficiency with ERP systems like NetSuite or QuickBooks
• Strong understanding of business intelligence tools
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
