Power Systems Data Consultant - Remote

Overview

As a Power Systems Data Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming utility operations through data-driven solutions that power smarter, more resilient energy grids.

In Short

• Deliver end-to-end support on utility-focused projects involving system integration, data modeling, and analytics.
• Ingest, structure, and validate operational data from multiple sources (e.g., SCADA, EMS, AMI, ADMS, DERMS, weather systems).
• Apply Common Information Model (CIM) standards to maintain platform interoperability and data consistency.
• Develop analytics workflows for grid visibility, forecasting, and event response.
• Use Python, SQL, or similar tools to automate data transformation and system behavior analysis.
• Assist with cross-platform integration and migration strategies involving ADMS, DERMS, EMS, and AMIS.
• Contribute to the design and testing of pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with senior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and accelerators.

Requirements

• Experience in data analysis and utility operations.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Knowledge of SCADA, EMS, ADMS, and DERMS systems.
• Understanding of Common Information Model (CIM) standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
