Home Infusion Registered Nurse - Independent Contractor - Remote

Overview

This role is perfect for an experienced Registered Nurse who specializes in home infusion therapy and patient care. You will provide in-home infusion treatments and education for patients undergoing therapies such as TPN, IVIG, and IV biologics.

In Short

• Conduct in-home infusion therapy visits according to established care plans.
• Prepare and maintain accurate clinical notes and documentation of patient interventions.
• Provide patient education on therapy protocols, drug side effects, and home infusion procedures.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, their families, and the pharmacy to ensure smooth care coordination.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans with skilled interventions.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans as needed, and manage patient and family expectations.
• Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare teams to provide optimal patient support.
