Field Service Technician - Controls - Remote

Overview

This position involves the installation and maintenance of critical equipment at customer sites, ensuring effective operation through commissioning, training, and preventive maintenance.

In Short

• Install & commission new systems within schedule and budget.
• Provide emergency repairs of equipment.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Provide advisory services during equipment install and service visits.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and CAD drawings.
• Prepare and submit inspection and service reports.
• Maintain inspection records and determine trends affecting performance.
• Supervise/train customer employees in equipment testing.
• Travel approximately 90%, up to 6 weeks at a time.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Field Service Technician.
• AS, AAS, or equivalent education/work experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 90%, domestically and internationally.
• Ability to read hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical prints.
• Proactive mindset with ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and databases.
• Experience with multimillion dollar capital equipment products.
• Valid Driver's License and passport.
