Overview

An Azure Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions in a cloud-based environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to transform raw data into actionable insights.

In Short

• Create and maintain data pipelines leveraging existing data ingestion frameworks and tools.
• Orchestrate pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related services.
• Develop and enhance data transformations to load data into Enterprise Data Lake, Delta Lake, and Synapse Analytics.
• Perform unit testing, coordinate integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Produce high-level designs, detailed documentation, and runbooks for data pipelines.
• Configure compute resources, enforce data quality rules, and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless data integration and governance across projects.
