Overview

The Property Associate (PA) ensures organizational excellence by fulfilling administrative functions on the property team responsible for one or multiple buildings, providing accounting support, and maintaining positive relations between tenants, clients, and Jones Lang LaSalle.

In Short

  • Participate in processing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Track administrative expenses and identify cost reduction opportunities.
  • Coordinate document management related to lease execution.
  • Monitor email, phones, and work order systems for prompt responses.
  • Maintain general office organization and manage correspondence.
  • Organize department meetings, events, and business travel.
  • Ensure tenant and contractor certificates of insurance are accurate.
  • Support compliance with management audits.
  • Assist in property budget preparation and reporting.
  • Provide general administrative support to the property team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial real estate or office management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Comfortable with change and uncertainty.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Physical ability to perform job requirements as outlined.
