Overview

Jensen Hughes has an exciting job opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Director, Business Development for our Midwest fire protection engineering business. This is a hybrid position with regular days in the office to coordinate with operations staff and occasional travel for client meetings.

In Short

  • Develop new business for Midwest fire protection consulting services.
  • Collaborate with operations staff to identify opportunities.
  • Maintain and track performance against sales goals.
  • Drive Business Development strategy in alignment with objectives.
  • Participate in local marketing strategies and industry events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) from a four-year college or university.
  • 5+ years experience in engineering services and business development.
  • Prior business development experience in engineering services is desirable.
  • Network of contacts with architectural engineering firms is a plus.
  • Record of success in achieving sales goals.
  • Advanced communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, MS Dynamics, Excel, CRM.
  • Ability to engage with clients via various communication methods.
  • Ability to manage an expense budget.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% within North America.
