Jensen Hughes, a leading consulting firm specializing in risk analysis and engineering solutions, is actively seeking a Senior Nuclear Fire Consultant with extensive experience in nuclear fire safety design, assessment, and probabilistic safety analysis (Fire PSA), and deterministic fire risk assessment.

In Short

• Lead and deliver fire hazard assessments and fire safety strategies.
• Support the development of fire protection design systems.
• Contribute to safety cases and design justifications related to fire safety.
• Interface with regulators and client safety committees.
• Mentor junior consultants in fire safety work.
• Maintain knowledge of nuclear fire regulations and guidelines.
• Participate in business development and client relationship building.
• Eligible for and maintain UK Security Clearance.
• Work primarily with UK nuclear facilities.
• Open to remote work arrangements for exceptional candidates.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in nuclear fire engineering in the UK context.
• Proven delivery of Fire Hazard Analyses and fire PSA.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent recognition.
• Degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Full eligibility for UK Security Clearance.
