Technical Writer I - Remote

Overview

The Technical Writer I will work as part of cross-functional Agile delivery teams to create, deliver, and maintain the information that explains how to use our company’s software products.

In Short

• Build a deep understanding of Jamf products.
• Work as part of a cross-functional Agile delivery team.
• Create and deliver technically accurate content.
• Collaborate with peer writers and an information architect.
• Use Jira and Confluence for tracking and documentation.
• Onboard and mentor new technical writers.
• Continuously grow technical communication skills.
• Work with multiple content management systems.
• Ensure content is usable and consistent with guidelines.
• Research new features and document them effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a technical writer.
• Effective communication skills.
• Business level proficiency in English.
• General experience with macOS and iOS.
• Experience in an Agile environment preferred.
• Knowledge of DITA XML preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Technical Writing or related field preferred.
• Combination of experience and education may be considered.
