Director of Building Consulting - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Director to join our Building Consulting team. This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial person with a strong grasp of property damage evaluation and strategic thinking skills.

In Short

• Evaluate the impact of disasters on structures and environments.
• Minimize damage during emergencies by deploying resources.
• Oversee day-to-day operations at project sites.
• Allocate resources efficiently for projects.
• Interface with clients and project representatives.
• Schedule and perform field inspections.
• Estimate medium to large projects using Xactimate.
• Document and analyze project-related documents.
• Provide technical direction to other consultants.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers for new opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 8-10 years of experience in the restoration industry.
• Relevant experience in restoration contracting with insurance companies.
• Proficiency in estimating software like Xactimate.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Strong project management and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
