Senior Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

J.D. Power is looking for a senior data engineer with excellent quantitative and analytical skills to combine multiple data sources together to solve complex client questions around vehicle valuations, market readiness, and customer purchase decisions.

In Short

• Daily immersion in automotive industry data
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements
• Engineer robust and extensible data pipelines for new and existing products
• Design, troubleshoot, and execute repeatable data processes

Requirements

• 6+ years of quantitative analytics experience
• Expert in SQL and Python required
• Highly skilled in ETL processes
• Experience in bringing together complex data sets
• Exposure to data analytics and statistical concepts
• Ability to resolve data issues creatively
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Effective cross-functional communicator
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
