US Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

IVIX is seeking an experienced and detail-driven Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and payroll for our growing U.S. entity. This is a part-time (~50%) position, ideal for a hands-on professional who is comfortable managing everything from journal entries to month-end reporting, while collaborating with our finance leadership in Israel. The role has strong potential to expand into a full-time position as the company scales. This position can be remote, though availability for in-person meetings in the greater NYC area is preferred.

In Short

• Oversee full accounting cycle, including journal entries, accruals, and month-end close.
• Manage AP/AR functions with proper coding, approvals, and timely payments.
• Maintain and reconcile bank and credit card accounts; monitor usage and limits.
• Collect and organize receipts and documentation per company policies.
• Manage schedules for prepaid, accrued expenses, and fixed assets; record depreciation.
• Process semi-monthly payroll, record benefits and taxes, and reconcile liabilities.
• Coordinate multi-state payroll, tax registrations, commissions, and bonuses.
• Oversee vendor onboarding, compliance, and payment workflows.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and partner on analysis and forecasting.
• Support tax filings, audits, and compliance documentation (1099s, W-9s, etc.).

Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred but not required).
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience; SaaS or technology company experience strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, monthly close processes, and revenue recognition.
• Hands-on experience with accounting and payroll systems and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
• Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and communication skills.
• Experience with international consolidations and inter-company transactions a plus.
• Based on the East Coast with flexibility for hybrid or remote work.
