Linux System Administrator - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Linux System Administrator to join a client's team and manage our server infrastructure.

In Short

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems.
• Ensure availability, performance, and security of servers and services.
• Monitor infrastructure, proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Manage and configure network services like DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall.
• Administer web servers and databases.
• Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Automate system operations through scripting and configuration management tools.
• Manage virtualized and containerized environments.
• Collaborate with development teams for application deployment.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of Linux operating systems and internal components.
• Experience with web server, database, and network service administration.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash or Python).
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools.
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork attitude.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
