Medical Subject Matter Expert (DHS ICE) - Remote

Overview

ISN is actively seeking Medical Subject Matter Experts to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Directorate Division.

In Short

• Review health care facility compliance with NCCHC and ACA standards.
• Conduct assessments of ICE detention facilities.
• Prepare detailed reports on medical issues.
• Provide recommendations for addressing non-compliance.
• Offer real-time technical assistance related to medical care.
• Evaluate compliance with medical care standards.
• Consult on various health care areas.
• Assist with training on medical reviews and standards.
• Analyze data reports to identify trends.
• Must be able to travel nationwide for onsite investigations.

Requirements

• Active DHS clearance or ability to obtain it.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Minimum 10 years of health care experience in a secure setting.
• 2 years of experience inspecting detention facilities.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Experience in data trend monitoring.
• Experience as a subject matter expert in mental health care.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse, PA, NP, or MD.
