Manager of Billings, Credit & Collections - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager/Sr. Manager of Billings, Credit & Collections to lead and transform our billings and collections processes. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the Billings, Credit & Collections team and related functions, collaborating closely with Revenue Operations and Revenue Accounting teams to enhance efficiency and scalability. This position demands both strategic foresight for long-term growth and the ability to execute tactical initiatives effectively. Your leadership will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation, driving change, and achieving outstanding financial performance.

In Short

• Oversee billings, credit & collections teams ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
• Provide vision and strategy around automation and process opportunities.
• Own the end-to-end Sales Tax and VAT compliance process.
• Monitor and report on accounts receivable status and collections activities.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements with delinquent customers.
• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly reports on performance.
• Support month-end close processes and financial reporting reviews.
• Assist with internal and external audits for compliance and accuracy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Accounting/Billings/Collections.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and billings operations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems like Netsuite, Salesforce.
• Proven ability to design and optimize order-to-cash processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
