Full Stack Software Engineer (API Focus) - Remote

Overview

IronArch Technology is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer (API Focus) to enhance the backend and integration layer of the Beneficiary Travel Self-Service System (BTSSS), a nationwide VA platform that automates travel reimbursement claims for Veterans.

In Short

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using C#/.NET and Azure services.
• Integrate data across VA enterprise systems for reliability and scalability.
• Support modernization of API architecture for observability and performance.
• Implement security best practices, including OAuth2 and data validation.
• Collaborate with front-end and Dynamics teams for seamless integration.
• Develop unit, integration, and performance tests; contribute to CI/CD automation.
• Troubleshoot API or integration issues in production and test environments.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint goals.
• Contribute to frontend work in support of BTSSS.

Requirements

• Public Trust Clearance or ability to obtain it.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience, focused on backend or API development.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET, SQL Server, and RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
• Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of API security standards and federal compliance.
• Exposure to VA or large-scale government IT systems preferred.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
