Overview

The Technical Sales Engineer (Solutions Consultant) plays a crucial role in driving IQM’s business growth in North America by providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle.

In Short

• Partner with sales teams to design and present technical solutions.
• Lead technical workshops, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), pilots, and demonstrations.
• Support tendering processes and prepare technical proposals.
• Engage with enterprises, governments, and academic institutions.
• Represent IQM at conferences and industry events.
• Collaborate with Product, R&D, and Marketing teams.
• Travel across US and North America up to 35%.

Requirements

• Strong technical background in quantum computing.
• Experience in high-performance computing (HPC), AI, or cloud technologies is a plus.
• PhD in physics, engineering, computer science, or a related field, or relevant experience (3+ years) in the quantum industry.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a strong plus.
