Field Service Engineer - Remote

Overview

A Field Service Engineer will install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and otherwise maintain all Intuitive products in their assigned territory ensuring all service agreements and warranty obligations are fulfilled and exceeding customer expectations.

In Short

• Perform scheduled maintenance activities including inspections and software updates.
• Troubleshoot and repair Intuitive products and associated equipment.
• Coordinate system and hardware delivery and installation.
• Complete administrative duties such as inventory and reports.
• Maintain company-provided items including tools and vehicles.
• Support sales teams and provide customer phone support.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Complete required training for assigned territory products.
• Mentor junior Field Service Engineers.
• Support service contract renewals.

Requirements

• A degree in science or engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills in local language(s) and English.
• Strong interpersonal skills and technical knowledge of products.
• Teaching and presentation skills.
• Strong administrative and record-keeping skills.
• Knowledge of Operating Room protocol preferred.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex systems.
• Ability to travel up to 50-70%.
