Field Service Engineer - Remote

Overview

Phillips Commercial division is looking for a road warrior in Alabama. This Field Service Engineer role is vital to our customers, in delivering imperative maintenance to CNC machinery so their operations can continue to flow.

In Short

• Installing new or modified equipment at customer facilities.
• Analyzing and inspecting findings to determine the source of problems.
• Coordinating problem resolution with factory support.
• Providing on-site technical assistance to troubleshoot equipment.
• Updating service reports accurately.
• Providing feedback to the factory for service procedure updates.
• Acting as a communication link between customers and the company.
• Conducting training on safe operations of equipment.
• 80% road travel required.

Requirements

• Experience with maintenance on CNC machines.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the week.
• High mechanical aptitude with some electrical knowledge.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to manage paperwork and expenses.
