Overview

The Clinical Counselor will provide essential counseling services to military personnel and their families, focusing on mental health support and advocacy.

• Provide counseling services for military families and individuals.
• Conduct workshops and individual consultations.

• Provide training and support to Command Family Readiness Groups.
• Execute responsibilities related to Emergency Family Assistance.
• Work autonomously and maintain clinical credentials.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid clinical license for independent practice.
• Master's degree in counseling or related field required.
• Two years of post-master's supervised clinical experience.
• Trained in Psychological First Aid.
• Strong communication, assessment, and advocacy skills are essential.
• Knowledge of military lifestyle and family programs is preferred.
• Experience with child abuse and domestic violence cases is necessary.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 is required.
• Familiarity with FFSMIS system is a plus.
