System Administrator I - Remote

In this role, you'll be pivotal in providing both onsite and remote IT support, ensuring our clients receive top-notch technical assistance. You'll handle a range of tasks, from system updates to hands-on troubleshooting, playing a critical role in maintaining our high standards of IT service.

In Short

• Responsible for resolving technical issues with little or no assistance.
• Handle workstation operating system issues, printer issues, and standard business application issues.
• Support line-of-business applications and server issues.
• Serve as an escalation point for technicians.
• Work in a hybrid setup—remotely or on-site as required.
• Experience in IT support with Windows and Mac OS troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of VMWare, Hyper V, M365, and Azure.
• Proficient in various business applications and networking basics.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar role.
• Active Server Certifications are preferred.

Requirements

• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup.
• Experience with Windows and Mac OS troubleshooting.
• Experience with Server 2016 through 2025.
• Experience with VMWare and Hyper V Virtualization.
• Experience supporting M365 and Azure.
• Minimum of three years experience in IT Support or a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of Firewalls, Switches, Network architecture, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in supporting MS Office, Adobe, Active Directory, backup software, endpoint cybersecurity, mobile devices, and various business applications.
• Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) is highly desirable.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a vehicle for client visits.
