We are seeking a part-time Crisis Helpline Responder with experience in helpline counselling and training in crisis intervention or suicide prevention.
In Short
Respond to crisis hotline for individuals in distress.
Provide professional crisis counselling and support.
Assess caller needs and triage for safety or referrals.
Maintain detailed call reports on issues and referrals.
Comply with Data Protection regulations.
Support development of crisis management plans.
Make quick decisions in crisis situations.
Ensure smooth handover to next shift personnel.
Dedicate shifts to Intellect tasks only.
Conduct risk assessments for suicide cases.
Requirements
Proven experience as a helpline counsellor or responder.
Completed training in crisis intervention or suicide prevention.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
Understanding of mental health issues and crisis management.
