In Short

  • Manage and secure environmental permits for water, wastewater, and reuse facilities.
  • Navigate regulatory frameworks, particularly with the EPA and state-specific permitting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with project teams, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare, submit, and manage permit applications.
  • Conduct regular audits for compliance with permit conditions.
  • Stay informed of changes in environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate with clients and community groups for transparency.
  • Develop documentation including compliance reports.
  • Work closely with engineering and project management teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental permitting.
  • In-depth knowledge of EPA regulations and permitting processes.
  • Familiarity with state-specific environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency in preparing permit applications and compliance reports.
  • Strong understanding of water and wastewater facility operations.
  • Knowledge of mapping in Google Earth and USGS Topographic maps.
  • Proficient with Bluebeam PDF Editing and Microsoft Office Suite.
