Software Developer - Remote

Overview

As a Developer in our Business Domains, you will work on a Development team supporting Insurity’s Policy Administration System, creating new features, modifying existing features, and enhancing our product through innovative ideas.

In Short

• Provide technical feedback during Release Planning and Team Refinements.
• Participate in Daily Stand-ups and technical design discussions.
• Develop new features and modify existing features within our Policy Admin product.
• Perform effective unit testing to validate code.
• Assist team with testing when needed.
• Provide peer-review of designs, code, and artifact delivery.

Requirements

• 1 year of software development experience recommended.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency with Object Oriented principles, SOLID principles, Data Structures, Databases, XML/JSON, VB.NET, C#.
• Knowledge of P&C insurance concepts is a plus.
• Ability to write modular, well-tested, and maintainable code.
• Experience in software development using Agile/SAFe methodology is nice to have.
