Pentaho Consultant - Remote

Overview

The Pentaho Consultant is a customer-facing role that involves designing, developing, configuring, and supporting integrations with insightsoftware’s Agility PIM software, primarily using Hitachi's Pentaho ETL tool.

In Short

• Interact with customers to analyze their requirements and create customized solutions.
• Work with clients and Agility PIM SMEs to scope, design, and implement custom technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, providing actionable solutions.
• Complete a comprehensive 2-week training program for Agility PIM.
• Gain expertise in Agility PIM by shadowing other consultants.
• Independently write complex integration jobs using Pentaho ETL.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal partners.
• Work cross-functionally to achieve team goals.
• Demonstrate focus and commitment to solving complex issues.
• Operate in a fast-paced environment with a focus on high-quality results.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience with Hitachi Pentaho.
• 6-10 years of experience with Microsoft Excel and SQL.
• Experience with web services/APIs and consuming JSON/XML data.
• Strong foundation in Computer Science with competencies in data structures and algorithms.
• Exposure to PIM, MDM, DAM solutions is a plus.
• Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a multi-client setting preferred.
