Overview

The Access Coordinator is responsible for gathering necessary insurance information and ensuring accurate claim submissions through effective communication and documentation.

In Short

  • Gather and translate insurance information into the computer system.

  • Prepare and submit prior authorizations and referrals.
  • Collaborate with clinicians for successful authorization approval.

  • Work collaboratively to resolve prior authorization issues.
  • Maintain high-quality work outputs within specified timelines.

Requirements

  • 1 year of relatable healthcare experience.
  • Experience in patient care, registration, or pre-certifications preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • No specific licensure or certification required.
