Bilingual Drug Safety Associate - Remote

Overview

The Bilingual Drug Safety Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with pharmacovigilance protocols and enhancing the safety of pharmaceutical products. This position requires effective communication with internal and external clients, data management, and quality assurance.

In Short

• Receive, scan, and document clinical information as per protocols.
• Work with clients to gather additional information as needed.
• Review source data documents and triage adverse event information.
• Data entry for adverse events and product quality complaints.
• Perform quality checks on reports and assist with data verification.
• Screen medical literature for safety information.
• Prepare reconciliation reports and conduct follow-up letters.
• Participate in non-conformance processes as required.
• May work on-call or standby as necessary.
• Must be able to work an 8-hour shift between 8 AM and 8 PM.

Requirements

• Minimum college education required; Life Sciences concentration is an asset.
• 1-3 years of experience in medical information or drug safety.
• Knowledge of pharmacovigilance guidelines.
• Bilingual in English and French is required.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Effective organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good internet access for remote work.
