Field Service Technician - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Technician will perform commissioning and mechanical/electrical field service work on Jenbacher Gas Engines, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and minor overhauls.

In Short

• Execute service on engines in compliance with maintenance protocols.
• Perform minor repairs and major service on engines.
• Coordinate tasks with external suppliers.
• Monitor maintenance activities compliant with EHS protocols.
• Analyze engine failures in mechanics and electronics.
• Troubleshoot engines in the field.
• Create visit reports detailing actions taken.
• Ensure spare parts are available and materials are approved.
• Work effectively in a team or independently.
• Comply with all EHS policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 4 years of reciprocating engine experience preferred.
• Commissioning experience preferred.
• Experience as a car mechanic or electrician.
• Mechanical Technician or higher qualification.
• Electrical Technician or higher qualification.
• Willingness for on-call rotation once trained.
• Living or willing to relocate to West Texas (Midland/Odessa area).
