Field Service Technician - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Technician installs, commissions, monitors, troubleshoots, and repairs Flowserve’s pumps, seals, and other equipment across various industries while providing real-time technical support to customers.

In Short

• Install and commission Flowserve equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot mechanical problems.
• Provide technical support and recommendations for repairs.
• Travel up to 70% for customer service calls.
• Collaborate with customer personnel and lead work crews.
• Maintain accurate records of jobs performed.
• Train customers on operating and maintaining products.
• Ensure successful equipment installation and performance checks.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical activity including lifting and climbing is required.

Requirements

• HS Diploma / GED with 8+ years relevant experience.
• Professional certifications in the field.
• Experience with pump equipment and mechanical seals.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A valid driver’s license with a good record.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Must be a self-starter with good follow-through.
• Capable of working overtime as required.
• Physical capability to handle equipment and tools.
