Integration Engineer - Public Trust Required - Remote

Overview

Initiate Government Solutions (IGS) is seeking a remote Integration Engineer to support work with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), focusing on data analytics, health informatics, and cloud migration.

• Remote position with daily remote access to VA systems.
• Responsibilities include ETL processes and data modeling.
• Design logical and physical schemas for enterprise data models.
• Evaluate commercial modeling tools and data cataloging platforms.
• Support deployment and change management efforts.
• Write SQL queries and develop data models.
• Create or enhance database architectures for data integration.
• Use Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Monitor and optimize performance of SQL tables.
• Must obtain and maintain a VA Public Trust clearance.

Requirements

• BS Degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in relevant fields.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Experience with SSIS and data mapping tools.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a remote environment.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship.
