VAT Accountant - Remote

Overview

The VAT Accountant role at Informa involves preparing and submitting VAT returns, ensuring high standards of service delivery, and building effective business relationships.

In Short

• Prepare and submit VAT returns for the UK and overseas.
• Prepare annual PSA return and EC Sales lists.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in monitoring team inboxes and responding to queries.
• Engage in adhoc project work as required.
• Establish strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments.
• Work collaboratively within the Tax & Financial Accounting team.
• Support the review of Assistant Accountants' work.
• Ensure timely follow-up on relevant queries.

Requirements

• Strong academic background, preferably with an Accounting degree.
• Good communication skills for relationship building.
• Ability to make timely decisions based on available information.
• Experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Agility and flexibility in work approach.
