Accountant - Remote

Overview

As an Accountant at Mixpanel, you will assist the accounting team in creating accurate and timely financial statements and records for the company, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded and reconciled properly.

In Short

• Prepare and record journal entries for various accounts.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Review and approve invoices and expense reports.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Analyze financial trends and ensure accuracy.
• Assist with special projects and audits.
• Streamline workbooks and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Moderate to Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Netsuite or Oracle.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Strong analytical skills and self-starter attitude.
