Accountant - Remote

Overview

Trupanion is looking for a dynamic, energetic, and highly curious Accountant who will play a key role in the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and analytics. This role will work collaboratively across the finance team to complete monthly close tasks and duties as well as cross-functional coordination among teams and departments.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• 2-3 years of accounting experience required.
• Experience in a multi-entity environment is a plus.
• Experienced with GAAP and financial statements.
• Ability to understand technical accounting concepts.
• Month-end close experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Strong analytical ability and detail-oriented.
• Desire to creatively problem-solve and innovate processes.
