Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our remote Accounting Team, responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, focusing on processing operating expenses, vendor invoices, and payments in alignment with 500 Global’s policies.

In Short

• Participate in day-to-day Accounts Payable operations.
• Collaborate with department managers for invoice accuracy.
• Monitor the Accounts Payable inbox for timely processing.
• Research and resolve vendor billing discrepancies.
• Perform regular accounts payable reconciliations.
• Prepare accounts payable aging reports.
• Record journal entries and assist with tax reporting.
• Support treasury-related activities.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes.
• Compile data for annual financial audits.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Accounts Payable and general accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency.
• Strong ownership and positive attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal relations.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Proficient in Google Sheets and Google Docs.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
