Resident Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Resident Engineer will work hybrid onsite and from home in Reston, VA, requiring active Public Trust clearance. This role involves preparing and validating equipment configurations, troubleshooting network issues, and assessing the health of Infoblox infrastructure.

In Short

• Implementation, integration, and migration planning
• Develop and maintain fault diagnosis procedures
• Network-related testing for Infoblox products
• Support DNS migration and scripted cutover procedures
• Develop strategy for DNSSEC deployment
• Participate in architecture extensions
• Document data migration processes
• Lead project status and wrap-up meetings
• Work on tools development for data management

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required
• Active Public Trust clearance required
• 4-6 years of experience with Infoblox or DDI
• CCNA certification
• Expertise in Linux/UNIX, MS Windows, networking
• Excellent briefing skills
• Ability to create summary reports
• Experience with equipment test plans and network diagrams
• Technical input for service outage analysis
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
