Service Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of Industrial Physics (Torus) equipment across customer sites, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through technical expertise and responsive service delivery.

In Short

• Fully remote position with up to 80% domestic travel.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Torus equipment.
• Provide technical support and training to customers.
• Perform quality testing prior to shipment.
• Complete service reports and maintain documentation.
• Identify opportunities to promote products on-site.
• Collaborate with the North America Customer Support Lead.
• Follow company policies and QMS standards.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

Requirements

• Experience in field service or technical support.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Customer-facing experience.
• Ability to work independently and travel extensively.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems is a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing or automated production systems is preferred.
