Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner - Remote

Overview

We are seeking board certified Nurse Practitioners licensed in West Virginia with broad clinical expertise and a passion for improving healthcare access and quality. In this role, you'll deliver virtual comprehensive care to patients of all ages across a wide range of conditions, while working closely with our provider and support teams.

In Short

• Deliver virtual comprehensive care to patients.
• Conduct age-appropriate history and virtual exams.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Manage acute, chronic, and mental health conditions.
• Counsel and educate patients and families on treatment plans.
• Maintain current knowledge of clinical best practices.
• Offer scheduling flexibility, including evenings and weekends.
• Minimum 3+ years post-training experience required.
• Active multi-state licensure preferred.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited FNP program.
• Active Nurse Practitioner and RN licenses.
• Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum 3+ years experience in urgent care or primary care.
• Experience caring for newborns through adults.
• Strong clinical acumen and communication skills.
• Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records.
• Maintain active Medicare status.
