Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner - Remote

Overview

We're seeking board certified Nurse Practitioners licensed in Iowa with broad clinical expertise and a passion for improving healthcare access and quality. In this role, you'll deliver virtual comprehensive care to patients of all ages across a wide range of conditions, while working closely with our provider and support teams.

• Requires active RN compact license and multiple state licenses.
• Conduct age-appropriate history and virtual exams.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of conditions.
• Manage acute, chronic, and mental health conditions.
• Offer scheduling flexibility, including evenings and weekends.
• Maintain current knowledge of clinical best practices.
• Provide cross-coverage for tasks such as reviewing lab results.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level FNP program.
• Active NP license with maintained RN licensure.
• Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Active RN compact license and multi-state licensure (5+ preferred).
• Minimum 3+ years experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care.
• Experience providing care to newborns through adult populations.
• Strong clinical acumen and communication skills.
• Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records.
• Maintain active Medicare status.
• Prior telemedicine experience preferred.
