Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner - Remote

Overview

We're seeking board certified Nurse Practitioners licensed in New Mexico with broad clinical expertise and a passion for improving healthcare access and quality. In this role, you'll deliver virtual comprehensive care to patients of all ages across a wide range of conditions, while working closely with our provider and support teams.

• Deliver virtual comprehensive care to patients of all ages.
• Conduct age-appropriate history and virtual exams.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of conditions.
• Manage acute, chronic, and mental health conditions.
• Maintain active multi-state licensure.
• Provide cross-coverage for tasks such as reviewing lab results.
• Offer scheduling flexibility, including evenings and weekends.
• Minimum 3+ years experience in urgent care or primary care settings.
• Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records.
• Strong communication and patient engagement skills.

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with maintained RN licensure.
• Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Active RN compact license and multi-state licensure (5+ preferred).
• Experience providing care to newborns through adult populations.
• Ability to function within an integrated medical practice.
• Excellent clinical acumen.
• Experience with Athena EMR preferred.
• Prior telemedicine experience preferred.
• Maintain active Medicare status.
• Comfortable with contractual scheduling requirements.
